Not a lot to go on tbf but I can't help feeling they may have the betting wrong, at least in terms of the disparity.
Cathedral as short as 4/7 and Anna Swan @ 7/4 Hills. Both were obviously strongly fancied on debut and both won easily as seemingly expected. However Anna Swan was a rare 2 year old debutant winner for SMS and she was perhaps one of the most visually impressive 2 year olds I have seen at Yarmouth even if the time was nothing special she barely came out of second gear.
Cathedral was impressive but was obviously expected to be so going off at 1/2 and a Godolphin horse easily held in 2nd and on the AW at Ling.
The books may well have it right in terms of fav but the price anomally does not stack up looking at bare form and SMS has filly entered for a GP1 whilst the fav has no big entries.
7/4 or general 13/8 might not seem generous but is it right?
