I'm assessing how much money I make from racing and its increasingly getting worse, in fact I'm considered quitting today.  I'd still like to have a bet on an occasional Saturday afternoon and maybe the bigger meetings (Chelts, Aintree, Ascot) for a bit of fun.  I'm looking at the cost of Sky, RacingPost, Racing TV thinking its just a waste of money.  Maybe RacingTV at £10-£12 per month without sky is justifiable but I'm guessing I can't achieve that without a delay in pics?  I know I can use betfair live stream but I'd like more (trainer interviews, paddock, discussions).  Any suggestions for bypassing greedy SkyTV?  Cheers

very, very good iptv can be had for between £11 to £28 for 1 year.
these playlists can have as many as 20,000 channels, but have every channel
known to man....Horse racing channels from uk, france, oz, nz , canada etc.

buying direct from chinese is the way to go, for the cheap prices.

sellers in europe buy panels from the chinese and then rebrand the playlist(s) with huge mark ups on the price they paid.

Obviously this is not for in play betting, but you have racing tv etc for a fraction of the real cost.

You can get nearly everything for next to nothing these days, there are even cracked racing post ultimate accounts for sale..Ive my own one (legit), but a cracked one will only set you back £15.

There's a big difference between IPTV and hacked Racing Post accounts. The next step up is hacked betting accounts.

indeed, these boys have hacked everything....you can get an account for nearly anything you want to name.

They run a programme, that spits out literally millions of accounts for a certain service.

and they advertise their services in the open too...IE, they dont get closed down/arrested.

There are simpler ways to get things on the cheap.

i have netflix and youtube premium via turkey (so all legitimate of sorts..lol)....ie vpn to turkey and buy via turkey.

netflix is £3 odds per month, youtube £1 odds per month.

you can do the same for things like spotify.

i have my own account, but ive bought streaming services from him before....you just log into the account and should have access to "ultimate using the email and password provided.

if you dont , message him with order number etc and he will issue with a replacement....the warranty period is 6 months, ie, if your account goes down or the account holder does not renew his account, you get a working replacement.
in practice you could have the account for years.

ive had a working disney account for 4 years, it cost me £3 with an original 6 month warranty period.

im just out, so if you have issues give me a shout and ill pass you his telegram, he deals with queries there too.

A question I asked ( for early on in race in- running punters ) is if you buy a secondhand HD box will Sky let you match the box with a viewing card  WITHOUT  subscribing to their services ?  Because if they won't you will have to pay them £31 a month before paying for rtv.

Some interesting stuff here, cheers!  Howard - some years ago I used a spare HD box with old viewing card and managed to get rtv without sky subs.  I don't believe its possible anymore though.
By:

revs you can use a viewing card that came with box when sky subs were paid.  I'm currently using an SD box with the card that was always with it. But to take rtv on an HD box you need the card that was always with it.  I believe people sell these boxes without a card so you need to get a new one matched.

If and when rtv pull the SD channel  and it only goes out in HD I would think a few people will need new boxes or maybe everyone ( on here ) is on multi-room Sky Q !

Aberdonia, can you get Sky on your Iptv . ?

yes, you get every channel under the sun, sky sports, premier sports, tnt sport, racing tv, you get all the oz sport channels, nz sport channels, usa sports channels.....i get sky sports in 4k of a few of my playlists.

racing tv is only 6 seconds behind live on one of my playlists, which is exactly the same as on legit sky accounts.

you can use tivimate on any android/fire device..

And one last thing, get yourself a vpn if your get iptv, you will need it on, at times....I use it 24/7 when watching telly via iptv.

The UK sellers provide "support" via discord groups and some via discord and telegram, so there is support out there, to help folk with technical things.

what's VPN ?
By:

It hides your unique IP address and location from prying eyes.

it also allows you to stream content from other countries by making
them think you are in that country.

it can act as a layer of protection online.

Below is a decent explanation..

A VPN can protect you online in some ways, but it's not a guarantee of absolute security:

Protects your identity

A VPN can prevent online trackers from following you by making it seem like your browsing is coming from a different device and location.

Protects your privacy

A VPN can prevent your internet service provider (ISP) from tracking your browsing activity.
Protects you from remote hacking

A VPN can make it harder for hackers to launch a remote attack on you by hiding your IP address.
Protects you when streaming or gaming

A VPN can protect your streaming and gaming activity by hiding your IP address from your ISP.
However, a VPN is not a complete solution and should be used with other security measures:
Doesn't protect against malware:

A VPN doesn't scan or block malicious software, so you should also use antivirus software.
Can't prevent phishing scams:

A VPN can't protect against phishing scams.
Can leak data: Some VPNs log user data, and some may leak IPs or browsing history.
Depends on the VPN provider:

A VPN is only as secure as the company that runs it.

To make the most of your VPN, you should choose a reliable one and read its privacy policy.

On windows laptops, you do need anti virus protection, i havent used a windows machine in many years...I use chromebooks which have inbuilt protection, so no tiresome windows updates, and an added bonus is that chromebooks are in the cloud, so are super fast, faster than many windows machines even though they look like they have lower specs.

chromebooks are perfect for betting imo....they are so quick, boot up in about 1 second too.

for most folk on here, they imo should replace their windows laptop with a chromebook.

Yes, use a chromebook good idea to replace windows, it's insecure at this point. For people on Betfair Chromebooks are sufficient.

Doesn't using a VPN slow things down ever so slightly for an in-running player ?
By:
aberdonia
When: 17 Sep 24 09:31
No, your internet speed will reduce using a vpn, but it wont slow anything down...
Internet speed recommendations
Activity    Usage required    Our recommended speed
Video calls    3-5Mbps    10-20Mbps
HD streaming    5-10Mbps    10-20Mbps
Online gaming    3–6Mbps    25-35Mbps
4K streaming    25Mbps    35Mbps

your speeds generally will half from what it would be without the vpn, it will depend on your broadband package.

i have full fibre 500 broadband, with my vpn on, i still get low 200s.

Although i wouldnt recommend using vpn for betfair....this is more for iptv.

ive had my vpn on, twice on my chromebook,(usa) recently, forgot, and went onto ****

they suspended my account both times as i was showing as outwith the country.

had to provide my passport and energy bill to de suspended...lol

if i had set the vpn to UK, probabaly would have been okay, but a lot of companies/sites are able
to detect that you are using a vpn...
