economics and Augustus Rodin dominate the front of the market and could be they fight out the finish but both are short enough and a few questions marks about both ,economics improving but a step up in class and Augustus is a bit in and out . los Angeles could be a bit better than he shows as he seems to do just enough ,ghost writer has usefully form but at the prices I like the look of Luxembourg who has top class form and not a lot between him and Augustus in this last year where he did a lot of the donkey work in front ,he should get a lead from Hans Anderson today a and a double figga price he looks sure to run his race and looks the value call to me . selection Luxembourg 10/1 bog ew ....good luck opinions encouraged.
Haven't looked in depth as yet Foyles but as you say Luxembourg is a very good horse and this 10fs looks his ideal distance, looks sure to run well and entitled to place at least i'd have thought.

yeah it is a very strong race economics could be anything ,Augustus r on a going day is gonna be hard to beat but you don't know with him does seem to bounce back from a disappointing run with a good un .

Going for Rodin he owes me from Ascot , heading there soon beautiful day here guys , I was in Epsom on Thursday as very surprised there was no shuttle bus to drop people to train station after racing ..

I thought Luxembourg could have been the winner last year if Seamie had been a bit more eager. I will do him for 3 places in case he has the same type of ride this year.

Although calling him Japanese is a stretch…he’s a full brother to Sottsass who has just raced in Japan.
His form isn’t too far off the other 3 year olds here…in fact some may consider it superior and the trainer is absolute don with preparing his horses for big G1 wins outside of Japan.

Its going to be a good race to watch. I've backed LA as 13/2 seems a decent price. Economics has looked good but winning the Irish Champion seems a bit of a stretch, surprised he is fav. Auguste Rodin will need fast ground.

Quite a lot rests on what tactics the ballydoyle firm deploy (which obviously none of us know). Ghostwriter pulled like stink York and still ran really well. He has a big one in him. If one knew the firm was going to put a lot of pace into the race, he would have a decent shot.

Interesting to see the tactics. Before the last race Donnacha echoed what most were thinking in that the track today is suiting those up with the pace. I assume Auguste Rodin will be ridden to have first run at the pacemakers.

Quite likely allow Ryan to slot up the inner and force the rest of the field to go really wide. Economics is not likely to push on from his wide draw, so he will have to be seriously good to defeat the circumstances of the race. My fear is that they won't put a lot of pace into the race early on either.

Think will be plenty of pace Cider, Hans Anderson leads from Los Angeles who should take it up, with Royal Rhyme, Auguste Rodin and Luxembourg also close up behind, would expect Ghostwriter and Economics to come from behind, should be a cracking race imo. Hard to call the winner though.
