I k ow market drifters never win but what's wrong with Made the cut ? Started off at 3/1 and was out to 14 on here when I had a look at it. I never back once raced 2yos , or try not to. I never back 2yos that have had one run on grass or aw then switch to the other surface as a lot don't immediately take to it.
But her 1st run was very respectable , nearly everything that has run from the race has placed in their next race . She was unfancied on her 1st run and will know a lot more this time out and is the type to improve for the experience.
One of the main protagonists has already won a race so has to shoulder a penalty whereas she has a 3lb claimer up and has no weight to carry as a result.
Well drawn and has the necessary experience , I would think she is worthy of a decent bet to place at 2.5 . Unless of course the drift is down to her being in season in which case I'd steer well clear. Thinking logically that is probably the reason for the huge drift so I will resist the temptation. Apologies for the musings but sometimes it helps clear my thoughts and think with more clarity.
Anyone fancy anything in this race ? I see the Archie Watson horse has been well backed.
