After seeing the car parked on the track in France this week, the boards at Chester and Beverley, hurriedly call an emergency board meeting.

They soon realised that they could squeeze 2 extra parking spots in..outside their wide draws.
Given the press reguarlary say, drawn in the car park, plus the horses always withdraw, they see this as wasted space and have decided to cash in.

Track's a disgrace in almost every aspect , wouldn't attend on principle even though it's a local track for me.

Chester’s romantic,Beverley’s quirky.

If you won’t attend, how can you possibly know, what a fantastic day you could have.you might meet some great people who d you never of dreamed of being life long friends,

Or you sit at your computer all day, content in the knowledge that you’re right.

I live about a mile from the course and wouldn't go if you gave me a free ticket.

Not saying i've never been , just wouldn't ever go again.

The alternative to having a computer day may well be going to the races , it just wouldn't be Chester.

Yes know all as at one time Beverley provided decent reasonably priced meals but now as you say the food is a rip off and poor as well.

I'm a member at Beverley and love it there. Although I have done a thorough analysis I cannot see any factors why this is the track I do best at - and have done so the past 12 years.

BUT, must agree with the comment on food prices there. Too pricey.

As for Chester. Well, it has to be the biggest joke of a track in the UK. They completely ruin the spectacle of the whole track being so tight and close to the stands the whole way round by jamming in as many tents as they can in the middle. Prices there are way over the top and car parking is hard work - and pricey. Look at Chester as how NOT to run a track and Beverley the opposite (aside from the cost of food).

Because I go racing so much, I could go on and on about what tracks are run well and what tracks are run poorly. Suffice to say, though, sadly there are more in the latter group than the former.

Think more people would chose Chester over Beverley.

You couldn’t go anyway, still working on your Shane warne shortcut for the football menu, curve it round the mouse mat, roll your fingers down the side of the mouse, land it in the rough, turn 90degrees and takes you straight to the match of your choice.

For customers in United Kingdom only.
Great British punters still praying Betfair can work out what day it is.
