You could check all this out for yourself via the 'Results' section on the BHA website and looking at the meeting that the horse was a non-runner at - just click on the 'View results' tab for the meeting in question and then click on the 'Non-runners' tab and you'll see against the name of each non-runner the reason why it didn't run.
