Charlie Appelby's horses are clearly not in tip top form 0/13 last 14 days tells a very unusual story, although just pipped yesterday by a neck for a winner.

He has in the past run two horses in this race and both have won, if his horses were certain to run their race this one would be 4/1 max and currently at 8/1 and 9/1 rates a bet for me.

FTO form franked by 3rd and 4th in their grades. Shadow Of Light max win bet for me.

THE STRIKIN VIKING has arguably shaped best in a couple of Group 2s since his impressive debut success over this C&D so remains one to keep on the right side of. Big Mojo looks another classy sprinter for connections having defied inexperience in the Molecomb and rates the main threat ahead of the exciting Shadow of Light.

Striking Viking a much bigger wind up imo. Shame Buick was all over the fkn track.
