The three O'Brien horses are all easy to back tomorrow.
I do wonder that unless they get rain, whether this will be too much of a speed test for him. Are the 3yo's that much better than the older horses? |

AOB and connections still talking about him like Pegasus. Derby form looks really solid. Obviously Eclipse win was much less visually impressive than expected, but the ground was terrible that day. The 2nd went out and won a top German Group 1 by 5 lengths next time, and the 4th (which was beaten over 7L in the Eclipse) only just lost out to Opera Singer (now 2nd fav for the Arc) in the £377k G1 Nassau Stakes at Goodwood. On much better ground with a pacemaker to help, I can see him blowing this lot away. Steam in, I say! |

I thought COT was idling at Sandown and there was plenty more left in the locker. But this field is in a different league to the one's he beat at 2 and in the Derby & Sandown. For this reason he has to be taken on at the current prices

I have to be with Alflalia at the prices. I make him a single figure price so it's a very easy decision to back him. The quick going, trip and track are all perfect for him. Looked very rusty on his reappearance at RA but ran with huge credit and then LTO I thought he won when everything was against him, couldn't get much cover and the very slow pace that was on but he displayed a really willing attitude and looked very strong at the line. The 17/18 on here is exceptional value in my book. GL lads.

They are desperate to make COT a quicker horse than he has appeared to be thus far, he looks like he wants 12f and more, but I suppose the breeding sheds appreciate a superstar miler these days. It'll need to be a really strong test and that big long straight will aid him to get going...fascinating race.

I'm looking forward to this race. CoT looks value @ 2/1 with Bet365.. whatever stake they will allow. The betting is difficult to get a handle on; Calandagan is tempting stepping up in class @ 9.6.
