nice big field  1 m group 3 open looking race and a few from this side of the water lining up soprano bright thunder spiritual and blue drum all have chances but are too short for me to be interested in and I prefer a few of the home team ,had been backing otherworldly last night and this morning at 40/1  ew 4 places but was called out around 9 and didn't get as much as I wanted on with 2 firms and when I got back just now it has been backed into around 16s I cant go in again at that price so I will leave it at that 40s looked too big I made it roughly a 20s poke pity I didnt get more on but you don't need  that much on at those prices any way to get a good return if you get lucky , anyway I like a few cracks of the whip in this type of races and another that looks a biggish price is see you around who was a good 5th in the French 1,000 gns btn around 2 lengths and her last run when a btn fav and a 3 l 5th in a 7f listed the trip might have been too short and the step back to a mile should suit better here , on her 2nd run this season she beat puchkine by near 2l and that one boosted the form by winning a group race subsequently on lines of form she hasn't got very much to find and 33/1  bog looks very fair imo.
as always lots of luck and guesswork needed in these French races as they seem to take turns in winning and for those reasons I prefer to play at bigger prices.
