The November Handicap at Doncaster used to be on the last day of the Flat season.
Dont know how it is officially now as everthing seems to be a load of Boll*x nowdays.

Apparently it officially ends at Ascot on champions day, Newmarket and York were the other options.

Must be that the word "official" is the thing here...Champions Day.

They do hand out the jockey championship award at Ascot right enough
but not convinced that is the end of the season proper but just
the end of that competition.

Doesn't the Jockey's championship finish on Ascot Champions day. Most racing fans would say Doncaster.
