I very nearly bought into that. But got Approval instead....one of the few good decisions I have made. A horse with no trip. Devoid of any pace. Staggeringly, he was only rated 3lb below my lovely fellow who won in the same colours last week in a £51k race. Just goes to show. A daft gane sometimes. Needs to drop at least 7lb b4 he has a chance I fear.

I'm not a great one to criticise jockeys, but the stable sends one horse 350 miles and he puts the horse in an impossible position. I wouldn't be too happy. Might as well have put Frank up.

thanks Stew. takes his races hard so has been in a field eating the equine equivalent of cheeseburgers and drinking guiness! No idea when he may be back but perhaps in 3 weeks or so. As long as no more rain. Plenty of races for him. Can't wait.
