Early 3am rise for a 6am flight to Bristol , arrived home around 12pm so a long day , but i have to say it was a wonderful day . People in Ffos Llas couldn't have been nicer , did a quick paddock pick and yes it was rushed , horse finished last Laugh...Did a paddock interview ,  wind was unreal doubt anyone really heard a word  I said, had some lovely food in owners and trainers and  did a interview with ATR which has not been shown just yet as we haggle over my fee...Laugh One of my best days racing also backed a few winners as well ,met some great jockeys and trainers , had a little joke with David Egan telling him about his Father riding for me and his comments after the race ,words to the effect that shes bloody useless, but slightly different   Laugh. Thanks  to my friends who came with me and a huge thanks to the people in FFos Llas for making the day special....

Yes Twoboyz, he surprised me by having my picture in the race card. He was joined in the owners and trainers by Richard Hughes and the course commentator Martin and a few others we had a brilliant day he knows the clerk of the course and arranged it with her...

Fantastic achievement well done. Which were your favourite tracks?

I was trying to do the same with a friend over about 20 years but it withered on the vine about 10 years ago. Still got 17 to go and I'm getting a bit long in the tooth, still have managed six in Ireland, three in France and two in the US as well. Happy

Wd workrider, a brilliant achievement.

Which tracks didn't quite live upto expectation? Only fair that the difficult questions get answered too!

Thanks Somerset Sam, I was very disappointed with Chepstow and Worcester,Fakenham which I was really looking forward to seeing were poor.
On the flat Ripon was poor unable to see first 3 furlongs because of trees. Windsor was the worst by far, Chemsford brutal, Huntingdon not great either...Finally Cartmel very poor viewing , I better stop there...Laugh

Thanks Brian and Dave, don't give up lads, as David Egan said to me yesterday when I said that him having a 10 and a half round trip to Newmarket was terrible , he said he was one of the lucky ones able to do it, and his thoughts were with Graham Lee and his terrible accident..So get back on track guys..

Well done Workrider, even more commendable from being based in Ireland. I've got 3 to do: Bath, Ffos Las and Cartmel. Went up to the Lakes for a few days a month back with the aim of doing Cartmel but got ill and spent the afternoon at the local Treatment Centre instead!

Sorry to hear that The Pies I'm sure you'll make the last 3 soon, FFos LLas was the most difficult as only very early flights from Dublin  so not exactly delighted to be leaving my bed at 3 am...Laugh

Some interesting tracks you list as not hitting the mark.

I went to Ripon last year and there is a stand that looks almost head on down the straight that provided a different, if unobstructed, view. Nice paddock and saddling area I thought.

Still trying to work round all the tracks, UK, Ireland and France is my aim in time.
