An enquiry was held to consider the placings following an objection from Laura Coughlan, the rider of TAKE A PULL, placed second to the winner, DARYSINA GOLD, ridden by Georgia Dobie, on the grounds of interference suffered 1 ½ furlong out. The Stewards considered that the interference was accidental and had not improved DARYSINA GOLD’s placing as Coughlan paused in her riding having received minor pressure from her outside, which lead her to anticipate the gap between runners closing fully. Having done so, DARYSINA GOLD proceeded to draw clear with TAKE A PULL making no inroads with over a furlong to run to be beaten 3¼ lengths.
was probably the worst objection ive eva scene.
