Winner drifted across eventual 4th and 5th in the run-in but can't see how it can have affected the 2ptp. Havent seen the head on.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong when the winner, BAROSSA (IRE), ridden by Faye McManoman, interfered with SEE MY BABY JIVE, placed second, ridden by Taylor Fisher, JOHN KIRKUP, placed fifth, ridden by Jonny Peate and SECRET DAAY, unplaced, ridden by Ben Robinson. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of BAROSSA (IRE) as SEE MY BABY JIVE, although only received a slight bump resulting in the mare becoming unbalanced loosing little momentum, SEE MY BABY JIVE was always being held on the run to the line to be beaten ¾ length. McManoman was suspended for 3 days, for careless riding, in that she allowed her mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, moving JOHN KIRKUP of its intended line who in turn moved SECRET DAAY off its intended which in turn gave a bump to SEE MY BABY JIVE.
