I don't understand the owner's need to take the dog anywhere near the action. No upside in it
and plenty of potential downside. No need to do it.

ive no probs dogd being allowed in..but haway man ffs keep it on a secure leash.
The horses can't tell if the leash on a barking or pulling dog near the rails is secure or not.
Didn't Greville Starkey make a barking noise sometimes when he was riding?
Greville Starkey impersonated Jack Russell’s and once delayed a flight taking off as crew were convinced there was a dog on board!
