Watered ground - is it going be genuine 'good'? Did they avoid the rain yesterday?

I looked last night and it said showers were forecast. ! 
This afternoon is expected to be cloudy with some patches of rain drifting in from the south. In the evening, longer spells of rain will start to move in.
Watering should be banned before racing,3 days before at least….
