why have such a ditch right next to the track route...?

That's as bad as I've seen for a long time, but NH courses don't help themselves do they?

If I wasn't sober, I wouldn't have believed that - a ditch next to the track where the poor horse having fallen, slid into it - amazing

Haydock abandoned races on the round course yesterday due to horses slipping on unsafe ground around the bend. Flat course don't help themself do they?
