Probably the weakest Group 1 of the year and the last where it is three year olds only.
Market headed my Kikkuli, a half brother to Frankel, who was pipped in the Jersey by Haatem last time. That’s probably the strongest recent form in the race and with Ryan Moore booked they are clearly not taking any chances so a stakes saver at 7/2 is in order.
The French horses look much of a muchness though I did tip Beauvatier on here for the French Guineas where he ran deplorably for no apparent reason. However, he had some decent form before that and is based in Deauville where he won nicely on his only previous attempt so at 12/1 I’ll give him another go.
The other one I can’t resist is Iberian at 16/1. Looked a really good prospect when beating Rosallion at Doncaster but has then flopped on his last two starts. They were both in strong Group 1’s at New’Mkt and maybe he is just one of those horses who hates the Rowley Mile. Charlie Hills has shown recently with Khaadem and Orazio yesterday that he can get horses ready so at 16/1 I’ll chance him as well.
I'm going for Romantic Style with Buick. ( Skybet £10 cashback if 2nd or 3rd.) . Ran a great race in the €340,000 Pouliches at Longchamp. 4th in a 4 way photograph for first beaten by a few whiskers. Only possible downside is the going which was soft that day. Still beat 11 very good horses and worth a crack at 4/1 IMO. Good luck all.

Quick note about Buick…he must have the craziest win record for the cross Atlantic weekends ie Saturday stateside, Sunday France.
In fact I think he still holds therecord for fastest back to back cross Atlantic G1s with the Arlington Million then the Prix Morny less that 12 hours later.
I guess it’s easy with the owners private jet. Must be like Air force one that.

very tricky race and at the prices I have backed 2 ,not a lot between the field on ratings and these French races often have traffic problems and hard luck story's , had a few smallish bets win and place on here at big odds on puchkine and monteiie at 100/1 and 90 ish earlier .good luck .

Kikkuli around 2.5 on the PMU in France and is very much fancied as apart Havan Cigar getting a good mention from Soumi they clealry beleive this prize is going to a foreign raider. And i have top agree. Think Harry Charlton has very stron Favorites chance. His form at Ascot is top notch in this field. The Jolly at around 3/1 on betfair is fair to me.

The Lion In Winter - one time hotpot for the Epsom Derby and top 2yr old beast - has been supplemented today. I think Moore will ride, and he's 8/1 with 'ladcrookes'; 2nd highest rated here after Shadow of Light.
