He did have a couple of shockers but don't they all? If you ride to get the breaks at the right time, you will get blocked fairly often but when you get the gaps as he did on Khaadem it looks brilliant. I think we will get our money back on Kasaya soon though. The Royal Ascot 2yo races have far more runners than the Group races that follow at Newmarket, Goodwood and York so there will be less emphasis on finding gaps when there are only 7-10 runners.

Yes, just ignore all the rubbish rides, and his partner in crime, Balding, just 2 winners from his last 48, good luck in avoiding the 46 losers.
Finding gaps on the Ascot straight track? Should they make it a bit wider to help him out? Kassaya didn't need any cover on her first two runs. Jock made his own trouble. |
