Backed Gultari a place at Redcar at 3.5 and put up a lay at 2 but the lay was not taken despite getting third by a good neck. So much going on today I suppose. I like Jo Mason at Yorkshire courses.

Suits me Reg. 5 place only bets today and 4 have paid out. Went win only on Haatem who I thought was a ridiculous price and thought he had got done on the post but he held on. Second best 3yo miler after Rosallion and I understand why they split them. Good pacemaking by Buick which some might not have noticed.
Plenty of us have been banging on about Haatem ever since they decided to miss the St James Palace. Bet of the meeting Rico
Unfortunately 2 of my place only bets won but that is what happens. One was Khaadem and the other Trefor so missed out on 2 nice winners. Just Portsmouth left today.
