WTF its this nonsense - just tried to do a multiple with unrelated horses in unrelated races at Worcester and it wouldn't let me saying they are 'uncombinable'. First off obv I'm a mug blah blah but has anyone got anything useful to say on why betfair is doing this?

All I would say is try again, perhaps a glitch, just put a few in just to see and it let me ok

I've seen it a few times, usually if trying to place a bet the night before.
I assume when they see liabilities on the same horses, they stop you from doing multiples on those selections, I would imagine it's to stop getting hit with a multiple horse coup |

That's the type of thing you get when combining two over broke place books in an e/way double , totally depends on the race shapes though and reason maybe totally irrelevant in this case as depending on which races we're talking about.

Yes they changed it as they were losing on it and done same to football only one selection allowed, if you go in the shop on the machines you can still have multiple horses to combine in multiples, they stop anything that gives you a edge and it did the best one was they used to do exchange prices on multiples, soon stopped that one and they stopped sp as well on sportsbook as sp was far better, so they have fk multiples completely

Bizarre. On both iPad app and web so not a 'screen' mistake. 3 were Tudors mounts (pure laziness on my part) so sort of related but I don't think they were well backed or anything and it said I couldn't have the first 1 (fav) in so happy that got beat by an outsider! I did have a result on an outsider yesterday but that was a single. Sod em.
