I had a horse in my notebook from last season called Too Much Trevor, and he reappeared in a little 4-runner handicap at Donny and he could only finish third of 4, beaten 7L.
But when the runner-up Blake came out and won a Sandown handicap, pulling half the track clear with the runner-up, I thought I'd take a chance on Too Much Trevor at Windsor, but he couldn't be given away in the betting and looked bloody hopeless. The winner of that little Donny handicap? - Lava Stream. Went up 5lb to a mark of 79, comes out and wins a Goodwood Listed race on her next start. Unbelievable, Jeff. Makes you wonder why they didn't run in another handicap first and land an almighty punt. |

It wasn’t the strongest race ,but 79 is low, would be interesting to know is this a record for a listed, group race.

quite George. Especially since the same owners had that grey didn't they who won the big 7f handicap on Champions Day then won loads of Group races. So they know the route.
