People got rather carried away with this one anyway, winning a weakish race at Chester does not amount to a great deal.

Yes, the odds were ridiculous, 2/1 Passenger and 7/1 Auguste Rodin who has won 5 Group 1's. That Chester race was ordinary, he beat a Group 3 horse who doesn't win. I can only imagine the time boffins must have talked it up. That's usually the explanation.

Won in good style though and the old Stoute patient 4yo angle helped steer me in at 8/1 ish which I thought was a more than reasonable trade.
