Haatem is one of 6 high profile horses recently purchased by Wathnan.
Haatem is a curious one, I'm assuming the Sheikh who owned the horses isn't short of a few bob, the colt still has considerable earnings potential while racing and presumably a career at stud awaits.
Personally, I wouldn't have accepted less than ten million sterling!

Seems a bit crazy to sell tbh (unless was for mega bucks) as horses like Haatem dont come along too often and if you are mega rich and dont need the money why would you sell?? Plenty of fun to be had imo in the future with Haatem.
He maybe was told it was happening and he didn't have an option. Could there be a packing order ?
