I know he had stents fitted in 2019 after heart attacks.  He'd be around 83 now.

someone remind me the name of the ruk old chap that passed away, tom something?

wasn't a pundit as such but he was a proper old yorkshire type, nice man
Report GEORGE.B June 3, 2024 3:43 PM BST
Tom O'Ryan?

I think he did start off mainly as a pundit, elise
Report GEORGE.B June 3, 2024 3:45 PM BST
Tom did some really good voiceovers too, for example, the tribute to Desert Orchid
Report elise June 3, 2024 3:45 PM BST

Report mitolo June 3, 2024 3:49 PM BST
no its not numbnut, if you are using colloquial inglish, which you clearly were. you did not right 'televisons'

not worth 2 hours research, even of your time
Report GEORGE.B June 3, 2024 3:49 PM BST
I'm sure he did a few, elise, he had the dulcet tones for it, here's the Sir Henry Cecil tribute that he did

Report elise June 3, 2024 3:50 PM BST
thanks will have a look
Report mitolo June 3, 2024 4:30 PM BST
his tones were not dulcet. they were flat northern and a bit hoarse and raspy due to his smoking

no go and look up dulcet
Report penzance June 3, 2024 4:36 PM BST
Done a nice piece on the 2 young jockeys who died in that fire,

This is what it's like to have a deranged stalker on the forum, he's prepared to take pedantry to Olympic grade level in order to get my attention.

Scrutinizing my every post, trying to find any angle which with he can antagonize me with as he craves a response from me.

I'm just going to pity and ignore the crazy f*cker.
Report mitolo June 3, 2024 4:43 PM BST
the idea im storking a cretin like you is risible. you forget i ignore most of your drivel

and as ever, when made to look daft you resort to ad hominem attacks. why not admit you are wrong? it can be therapeutic

i dont like conspiracy loons or putin apologists. and you are both
Report GEORGE.B June 3, 2024 4:46 PM BST
And the other thing my crazy stalker does is make accusations about me in the absence of any evidence.

He is f*cking obsessed with me.

I wanted to do similar for the 'current most annoying pundits', but I quickly got to 20, and still felt there were some notable omissions.

Peter O'Sullivan...surely you can't have forgotten him?!

Wonderful commentator and excellent tipster. Put up three horses per day in the Daily Express, which were invariably better selections on average than any of his contemporaries could manage.
