I am amazed that Stephen Hawking survived so long with MND.
Doddie Weir and now Rob Burrow taken by this evil disease.

Kev Sinfield is an absolute legend and an example to us all.

over 500 rl games takes some doing. sadly, thats what probably done it to him as he got caught on the melon more than anyone because he was so small

What a great Leeds and England player he was and a great brave man the way he handled this terrible illness.

Watching Burrow play in Super League, arguably in its heyday, showed him to be a talented player first and foremost but also somebody who played well above his height and stature physically. He never took a backward step against anybody on the field and this must have inspired his teammates.

An inspirational figure after his diagnosis and its at times like this that I feel life and all the day to day issues that people may face are put into stark perspective when you consider what Rob and his family have been going through.

Make every day count and be kind to yourself and each other.
