very quiet oaks today, just took under £300 and the biggest bet on the jolly was £60, a pony bet and a couple of scores, a bet of 60 ew the winner returns 588

sorry i am off tomorrow but i will update on Monday re the game, sad to say it hasn't gone but the way things are its going off to enjoy supper, the other half has made homemade buns with farm bought sausages and caramelised onions, washed down with a few glasses of red |

Must tell you something when you compare the different working days in the life of ronnie......
Derby Day = day off Grand National Day = ordered Latte & Bacon / Sausage baps for all the staff after doing a deal with the local shop and the staffing levels were probably doubled. That will never change or be replicated whatever the popularity perception of the Grand National  |

The naked truth is the game was 'gone' years ago but the introduction of crack cocaine machines with their guaranteed cut saved the day, otherwise shops would have disappeared en masse.

Will not see them for months turn up know and again . A mini market less than 50 yards away sells 2 tins of beans a day yet they drive around in a merc and a BMW.the 2 Turkish barbers less than 50 yards away who have no customers both drive top of the range bmws.    |
