Hearing Gosden citing the ground as an excuse I assume the horse won't run at Ascot if it's soft?

She ran too fresh, and her trainer indicated before racing she worked lazily; 4/6 antepost to 2/1 said it all. My question is, why run at all? For the bookies perhaps.
According to Mr Gosden she'd probably run in the Hardwicke. I'd not back her until she actually wins a race prior. |
