I find it hard to understand why there are so many of these £40k maiden and novice races for 2yos at this time of year. The one at Yarmouth today has just 6 runners. Just one of them has run before and I would have a small bet that none of them will ever win a race of this value again (unless it is another of these valuable maidens on otherwise moderate cards. Surely this money would be better used in handicaps.

Was looking at the maiden that has 3 runners for 40k, both races seem a waste of time and could've just had the one race maidens

Rain just stopped , Post the other day were calling today's as likely to throw up a Royal Ascot fancy , obviously talking their book , other races worth nothing and best is 0-75 .
