My bank sent me an email:

"We’re getting in touch because your recent gambling activity has been high. If you feel that gambling is having a negative impact on you, support is available.
Block gambling transactions Did you know you can block gambling card transactions through ‘More’ then ‘Manage my cards’ in our Mobile Banking app?
Get useful insights on your spending habits, including spending on gambling. You can sign up in our Mobile Banking app."

Its actually not that high, but money flowing out since Christmas higher than in recent years as previously reduced balances last year with several bookmakers last year so have been transferring cash in on as required and have a couple of hefty exchange football bets still to settle, both almost certain to win after Sunday. I'm wondering if this is part of the affordability crack down and if banks look at net flow or are only interested in money going out??

I got one that was nothing to do with beting, just said that they noticed I'd spent more than I usually do last month and asking if I needed help with budgetting.
At the end of the message they had a box to tick to say whether I appreciated getting this e mail - yes or no? So much to say that "no" doesn't cover.
I've had my current account with them for over 50 years, never once been in the red.
