I bet he wishes Dettori hadn't quit the saddle in the UK!

Harry Houdini wouldn`t have won on Arrest. Very harsh criticising the jockey but it seems to be in fashion just now. Shoemark is a top rider and he will come good in the end. He is just a little low on confidence right now. All jockeys get a spell like that, even Archer, Sir Gordon and The Longfellow.

Third time I'll say it as you seem to be purposely ignoring it. I never said he would've won. But it was a poor losing so much ground. It can still be a poor ride even if it wouldn't have won anyhow. As for the jockey I haven't criticised him once on here before today.

No problem MJK - I get your point. I never singled you out, I was speaking generally as it seems there is a fred criticising the lad nearly every day form OTHERS.

To be honest I haven't been paying too much attention to him to have an overall opinion. Only reason I watched the race was I backed the horse before and wanted to see how it ran.

I bet it at Newbury too mate but gave it a wide berth today. Was wanting it to win for the Colonel though, having seen his other fred. Good luck with you bets!

I am not a great fan but 11 wins from last 44 runs in 2 weeks is top drawer. I know it is easy for the top trainers to wheel out their best 3yo maidens in May but only Channon has a better % win rate of the top 20.

like quite a few trainers gosden horses are behind this spring & yet shoemark is 8% up to BSP this year
plus a chunk from 2020 onwards when he put his well documented problems behind him

the anti shoemark narrative on here is tedious imo
