Ride of the year. Absolutely wonderful by Jack Hogan.
We are all quick to criticise when jockeys make an ass of a race so credit where credit is due and there should be many many posts praising that on here about that fantastic effort. .... and I backed the 2nd. Deserves a double post that. |

I was laying the 2nd there, and went from calling him a useless fecker (about to fall off) to a great lad and top effort!

he wouldn't have won if he'd been unable to ride the last 50yds, the horse was easing itself, if u see him kick out the stirrup he throws himself across the neck for balance then once he has his leg free he immediately goes to the whip, so it's actually brilliant horsemanship

I am not going to lie but having bet the 2nd the devil in me was hoping it would get beat but that would have been an injustice if it hadn`t won. It was all over the shop and really bedazzling that he won. Well done Jack. |
