This is why I hate horse racing.. I know they pick and chose when to try but seemed to be well backed until a drift just before the off... Feel like a last minute decision was made "not today"

He was a selection on my thread and this was my analysis of the run.
Moonstone Boy was caught three-wide, and again left the impression he's not the easiest, but given how well he responded to pressure at Thirsk, maybe he should have been asked for an effort sooner than he was and had his mind made up for him, imo. However, given he might be quirky, maybe not one to be making excuses for. |
