Never moved a muscle or was unable to do so. A decent jockey on-board it wins. That's the simple answer

Brutal stuff. The standard is just so bad

No shame , she should give up ! Not fair on the horse or the punters
.But this is where we are with the sport , very big shortage of half decent jockeys . Anyone who can do the weight gets rides. How many people can do the weight ? 1in a 1000 , hence no ability .....imo. If the weights horses could carry went up a stone , all our flat jockeys would be gone in a month ![]() |

She has won on the horse four times before so clearly capable.

Midfield, outpaced and pushed along after 2f, lost position over 1f out, ran on well and went second towards finish, just failed (op 5/2) |

because a jokey has won on a nag its not axiomatic that they are capable. the max has won dozens of races
and i suspect you would not have replied had it been a male jokey |

If she has won on it before , anyone would have won on it ! Zero to do with jockeys ability! A lot of people on here rate jockeys by the wins they have had , utter rubbish way of thinking ! Any 7lb claimer would have won on Shergar in the derby ! Didn't stop you backing her mount today though did it ? |

Thought she stopped riding for a good few strides, most prob thinking she couldn’t catch the front runner, but the leader started to thread water, and she did make an effort
