For clarity the Saturday is the whole card at Newmarket (not just the 2000 G as has been reported) and on Sunday it is the 225, 300 & the 340.
Placepots are minimum £150K both days of Newmarket and the Scoop 6 is now over £200K combined so will likely go over £300K by the first race on Saturday but are not part of the World Pool.

Acey, it makes no difference how much is in the pool, if most of the tickets are owned by the tote itself. This guaranteed pool thing is a gimmick which is of no real benefit to punters.
What would be a benefit though is if they let you get an extra 5% on your placepot by allowing you to have an account. Westberks, now that affordability levels have apparently been raised, will the tote be reopening accounts that the safer gambling team closed? |
