Race finishes, replay of the final furlong, then a slow mo with an actual theoretical finish line that pauses right as the horse’s nose lands on it so you know all of the places immediately and then a full replay of the race. |

Yes, good example of how it should be done - at the very least for the paying places, which is part of the point of the race!
