Clinton Lane could outrun his monster odds again, won at 100/1 last time and doesn't have Maxwell up.  GL Happy

Favourite well beaten but didn't see jockey doing too much wrong to be fair. Given the margin I doubt a proper jockey would have won on it.

That bloke would get Arkle beat. But he buys the horses blah blah. Poor horses I say.
Nice fella though. How he earn his wealth?

I thought there was a rule that a horse should be running on its merits. When Maxwell is riding that is not the case.

The BHA should withdraw his licence.

All lumping on when he isn't riding it ?

Nice ride from McLernon, just let Maxwell get on with it. Once he got back on terms it was all over.

Favourite well punted (albeit a bit of late support for the winner), but you have to wonder why. If it comes to anything like a close finish then Maxwell is a huge negative.

opposing jocks have 2 bullets to fire
the horse getting legless
or
maxwell getting legless ,maxwell himself often doesnt get the trip you can he see his arm movements/pushing getting slower and slower,
maxwell/pundits been telling all season this horse needs settling and putting in front on the line, maxwell obviously given up on that ,and said fook it kiuck on if i,m good enough i,ll win
By:

yeah trident shouldn't really have been a problem with a horse that has won over further.  That said when your main opponent is also a good stayer it didn't make total sense.

Bit of a head scratcher:ridden prominently in France and clearly stays further.Maybe head gear needs employing.Must have been very short in running?

funny thing is he may not want very testing ground. I know he's won a couple of chases in France but they often say it's softer than it is. His win over here was on G/S. He goes quickly from hero to zero. It often suggests the going.

I don't lay horses, as you well know. Of course it's none of your business anyhow.
