He has actually had a double. Won the race before too.
Hymac was a terrific front running performance. Jumped like a stag all the way round. |

Both gambled DD.

... I should have been wise to that and shouldn`t have bet the Jonjo horse which just got gambled there at Cheltenham. Dropped out far too far at the back and when tried to make up some ground made jumping errors and never ever in with a chance. Who was it that said, "You can give them weight but not big advantages at the start"!
... might have been the great Stan Mellor. |

First winner beaten at relatively short prices on five of it's previous seven starts, and the second hadn't won any race over obstacles. Trainer will probably live off those two winners for the next year.

If you are in the know - you might win.
If not, you have absolutely no chance. My old dad used to say they were all crooks and comic singers ![]() |

Not sure about Fry's singing voice.
Market all over his runner in the last tomorrow. Three winners? I doubt Burke will be able to get away with the ride he gave it last time, and a speed horse unlikely to as well suited by Cheltenham. Let's see if he can help the poor old bookies out. |

I shall watch with interest. Good luck!

I thought Fry was going to do what Skelton is doing now....Funny old game.

Strange old race with the four favourites all out the back. Not very clever. Winner benefitted from Skelton in particular getting into all sorts of trouble, but that's the risk you take with those sorts of tactics. Didn't see any obvious reason why they needed to be ridden in that manner. Winner 5/1-9/4.

4 wins from his last 10 runners but I still agree that taken over the last 2 seasons he is an under achiever.
