One of the best races to watch all season and as a backer of the winner (purely following the money) I would not have backed him at 25/1 4 out. Paul Townend and Rachael Blackmore keep on showing us just how good they are.

You old timers are right DD - its not as if the race was  on its arrrse in the 70s until red rum came along - everything was much better in the past just because its in then past. I don't see the pleasure in a race with 4 finishers from 40 starters. Like a stock car race. The meeting that has really been messed up is Cheltenham next week. I used to love the April meeting but now we have all the money showered on the mares races on Day 2 and a very mediocre card on Wednesday.
