Very poor show ... withdrawal was announced 2 minutes before the start ... the horse was taken out on Vet's advice ... problem with a limb and taken back to stables in a horse ambulance.
Thoughts with horse and connections ... hope not serious.

Can give an update on BLAKE 11:00 Chelmsford ... withdrawn by vet at the start ...
After being taken by horse ambulance to the racecourse stables, it was found he was lame after treading on a discarded farrier's nail at the start or on his way down. Back home now and being cared for to prevent any infection ... so happily it will be a good outcome and he will be able to race again soon. |
