cracking 20f h,cap hurdle 20 plus runners and obviously loads with chances ,most of the top yard represented from both sides of the water but one has caught my eye at a decent price and this may have been a long term plan . paul nicholls runs 2 with stable jock harry cobden on inthewaters who is shorter in the betting and the seemingly 1st string for the yard obviously should run well but the one who interests me much more is SONGININO who finished a good 3rd in this last year giving weight to the 1st 2 , a c & d winner in december carrying 12 stone then out the back in the lanzarote off a revised mark of 143 he was then pulled up in the martin pipe at the festival off the same mark .runs off 141 here but good young claimer takes off 5 pound and if i have this right leaves him a pound lower than when he won here in december best form seems to be with plenty of give and nicholls knows what it takes to win these big field handicaps as said earlier this looks like a plan with the kid up and the claim . plenty of luck needed in these big field h,caps but the yard won the pertemps final with the same connections monmiral at the festival in march . slys paying 7 places ew if ya can get on with them ,only let me have £4 ew but got plenty on with other firms and will probably go in again tommorow when bog kicks in . SELECTION SONGININO 20/1 EW 6 PLACES ,SLYS 20/1 7 PLACES GOOD LUCK OPINIONS ENCOURAGED.
Hi Foyles, I have done a few speculative ew bets in this race, including Sonigino, but the one that stands out for a bigger win bet is MAKING HEADWAY. All his runs under rules have been around the minimum trip, but being by Malinas he will surely improve for the step up in distance today. He also did win a 3m PTP on Soft in Nov22, so stamina is already proven anyway. Good luck.

obviously its a bit of a minefield and luck in running will play a part but songinino ticks a few boxes . undertaker good to see you still popping in hear your thoughts good luck .

Good luck Foyles, had a look yesterday and your one caught my eye when remembering his stroll in December, if he runs near that would have a fine chance but a big if given subsequent runs so swerved it but tbf good claimer up could help, very best of luck.
Undertakers post intrigued me with regard to his comments about Malinas a sire I am not familiar with, had a quick look and nothing stands out from his breeding or the Dams sire which screams stamina over jumps being optimum. Not a criticism btw just interested how he reaches his conclusion e.g progeny?
One thing I do find strange among pundits is when they state proven stamina because a horse has won a 3m PtP, just because a horse has won a PtP over 3m does not to me always guarantee it will stay in better quality races under rules?
