Thanks for the suggestions gentlemen.
This year an eight night staY would allow one to take in Carlisle,Hexham,Sedgefield and Newcastle ( jumps ) as well as Hadrian's Wall. Might see if it's still possible next year though I think it would require 2 different hotels. |

Nothing wrong with the holiday inn express at scotch corner salmon and normally fairly priced and well positioned for those fixtures.

I've had a look at that jimnast so thanks.
A few years ago I would have said it was a bit above my price range but recently I've realised you can't take it with you so cost isn't a problem. My first thought was it would be a bit far to Carlisle but in fact if you go the Cummings route it's quite doable. Newcastle may well be further but that's straight up and down the A1 which I know to an extent. So I think that might be on. Obviously it depends on next year's fixture list which will no doubt be available by Dec. |

theres a premier inn or similar on the samsung/hartlepool roundabout 10 mins from course these days
