I only did it part time for a couple of years while I was at uni 20-odd years ago. Enjoyed it more than any other job I've had.

I was a settler on Saturdays/nights for an independent bookies(Mick Dines) in the 90's. An enjoyable job back then, just one fruit machine and about 1500 slips on Saturdays. A certain large-chested cashier used to make the days fly by.

About a dozen said to a staff member do you think a punter will want a bet on after the off time I was correct regarding pay out a guy who backed a placed horse came up less than 2 minutes after the race was over day off tomorrow so one my 3rd Porreti.a member of staff said to me you are due to get your oap tomorrow how do you bet you been here for next years national I said 7/4 to be here 1/2 nor to be. |

Thank you for your very very kind words sad to say we looked after the mother in law for the last 4 years she had dementia and sadly passed away 2 months ago it really took it out of us. Thanks again for your kind words Ronnie. |
