It looks like they are blocking off most of the site to non-subscribers now, can't even access the odds grids.

Don't need Oddschecker for anything tbh , use exchange for handicap win single outsiders and for a bookmaker bad e/way acc i always take SP.

Perhaps not on here, but I suspect those who bet with bookmakers will mostly use oddschecker.

How will bookmakers (who presumably pay for advertising their prices) feel about far fewer people viewing their prices?

Prices are all I want, and this looks like a desperate attempt to pay for all the associated rubbish.

Had a look at ATR and it doesn't give the same level of coverage or price history.

This isn't a good move for punters or the sport. Just encourages less betting. You have to hope it's a complete failure.

Imagine being so bad at betting you had access to bookies, and then paid money to pick which bookie to lose at. Crazy

Bookies should be enforced to liabilities of £500 on any race and and betting market without restricting customers imho

Agree with some of that Angela but it's a fact that some of the best mathematical value you can get is only available with bookmakers as those bets can't be placed on the exchange.

As i always say , you need both to take advantage of every opportunity and not be one-dimensional.

Good luck tonight  Happy

Has there been a RP article or comment on this and other than ATR (which isn't very good compared to OC), are there any other options out there anymore...??

it works for every site where you don't need to log in. e.g. sites with 5 monthly free articles etc.

Just use the "Best Odds" facility on Racing Post without being a member.

99% of punters aren't going to pay for it, agree with differentdrum, bookies will say no no soon enough

Why would anyone pay for a site that advertises the prices of the item (bet) they want to buy when advertisers (bookies) have already paid to do that - would you pay to go touch a site for a tv? I can only assume they think the info is indispensable and people will pay but all it shows is that it isn't and no know one really needs oddschecker.
I imagine the traffic is right down and the advertising/keeping bookies happy dep is sweating buckets atm. It will either revert or shut down within 6 months.

If you're one of the punters who puts up prices on here to back or lay, you need access to an Oddschecker-style site occasionally, just to ensure you're not too far out-of-line with your prices.

Not absolutely necessary - you can click on every individual bookmaker's site, if it comes to that - but useful.

if you block all cookies in settings for the duration of your session, you can view as many histories as you want. It might mess up other sites though, so go back to standard when you've finished.

I only have ad blocker, don't know if that does anything. I'm also not logged in there.

Gaze, you can block all cookies for an individual site. You can keep the setting permanent and it it doesn't affect other sites, just do it once and forget all about it.

I did it in Edge

settings> Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data> scroll down to 'block' than add the oddschecker url, and thats it.

Here's a link that explains it for other browsers:
