Xplain please

When odds of certain selections plummet or drift wildly, they will often be readjusted in the market ladder to reflect their new perceived chances. To answer the OP, this has been happening for a while.

The without the fav market did not reflect the win only market **** and bull was fav but still in the without market ....

Cheers Angela for reply

But Not seen it myself before the last week
E.G you could work out the steams and drifts by original position
The advent of the flames and ice creams were enough added recently so why bother moving them
Better things to do
Could confuse if you got screen over half market
Report madhatters • April 3, 2024 8:53 PM BST
To add wouldnt have said drift and steam were wildy on that race
2 horse race with minor adjustments
Bully went 2.3 after suspend opened from about 2.1
Strange

Re positioning has been happening for a good while now

Well they can't predict the future when the market is initially created ! That's why they put the name of the initial favourite in the market details, for this very eventuality !

I don't know when they adjusted but CAB was 5.0+ at one point and steamed in to 2.0x, so rightly plonked to the top of the market imho !

Don't bother with the "without" market

Not been in the house for couple of weeks
How long ?
Report 11kv • April 3, 2024 8:58 PM BST
Should they not monitor it before the offski and void bets as req Mischief
Report 11kv • April 3, 2024 9:00 PM BST
Brassy noticed it last year
Report madhatters • April 3, 2024 9:00 PM BST
When i looked just after 8
Cracker was fave - just

What i'm saying is you didnt need this new algorithm of flames and ice creams to spot drifts and steams
Or need to have them switching
The position told you
Report madhatters • April 3, 2024 9:03 PM BST
I take Brassy with pinch of salt - like most
If it had been going on since last year i would have seen it
If that is the case the positions would be continually changing like the hokey cokey depending on price throughout the markets
Report TameTheTiger • April 3, 2024 9:08 PM BST
Sometimes they alter their positions if one has steamed or drifted, sometimes they don't. They seem to do it on a whim.

I does happen and has been for a while though seemingly on a random basis, Has caught me out once when layed the wrong horse but realised and managed to get out of the position. Doing it when markets are quiet is fine but not at the "frantic" stage,
Report jamee1 • April 4, 2024 2:29 PM BST
It's been happening for years. Usually only when there has been a significant move in the market, and usually not within 30 mins of off time.
