3.25 Ffos Las. Amateur has ran over this course and distance, 3m4fs, 4 times and has a record of 1131, the first 3 figures were in this race the West Wales National, quite something, currently 12/1 here and can get between 9/1 and 11/1 with books depending on how many places offered. Price seems to be based on the heavy going and most pundits appear to believe is better on Good ground, may well be but has ran well and won/placed on soft ground many times with a 2nd on heavy. John Flint has a great record here, horse just had 2 runs this season, PU in Welsh Grand National after 6 months off (put up my theory about PU horses in WGN) last year, and again PU in C2 at Newbury after another 9 week break, should be ready now and no doubt aimed at this race, just 1lb higher than 2nd of wins in this race, price too big to ignore for me.
Stuck with it for a couple of quid at 33s, the jock whose only win was over 3m2fs for Tim Vaughan on Silver In Disguise lto surprisingly allowed to ride for Flint making him potentially 7lb better in than last years win in race.

Back on Good ground today as well, so the experts probably right about the going, but if you have a look at his last race when PU, you'll see that he jumped and travelled very well at the back of field prior to being pulled up.
