Keep it simple and stick with Baffert & Frankie imo
Both have won the race 4 times each including their team with County Grammer a couple years back.
Horse had a year out before they brought him back in January and after a couple of runs Frankie got on board to win the Santa Anita Handicap on him…showed a fair bit of tenacity to run down the long time leader in the shadow of the post.
They would’ve had loads of options for his next target so it’s got to be worth something that the pair of them decided the DWC would be his next target.
PS I did some digging and there are 5 other Tesoro’s from the owners ie they own:
Ushba Tesoro
Wilson Tesoro
Anatoly Tesoro
Marcus Tesoro
Wendell Tesoro
Erica Tesoro
ChungLi Tesoro
So there’s a Japanese Marwan Carwash out there lol
