Lately there is a lot of difference between exchange odds and bookie odds. For instance, Kings Code looks like he steamed from 30 to 17, but according to bookie odds he drifted from 9.5 to 17, so is he a steama or a drifta?

Or a horse drifts from 7 to 12 on the exchange, but according to bookies he drifted from 4 to 12 which makes him a no hoper.

Or a fav steams from 4 to 3 on the exchange, but bookie odds say it was from 6 to 3, even though there are no non-runners.

Kings code 15 to 42 before the off, that's a drifta.

Perhaps you're looking at the bookmakers 'show' prices? These usually only run from about 10 mins before off-time, whereas the Exchange history will show prices all the way back to the previous day at least.
