This was a horse I was looking forward to this season. He looked very well bought at £48,000. Those who finished behind when he won his point suggest he could have easily made three figures. Was he bought with an issue?

He was given a very negative ride (he made the running in his points) on his bumper debut, but turned in a satisfactory effort to finish a distant second. He then absolutely bombed on hurdling debut, and has since had a wind operation. Given that he is weak in the market today, and the favourite is strong, it doesn't augur well, particularly as you would think a much stiffer test would suit. It strikes me they are just hoping he will finish his race off, and it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if he bombed again.

That was sweet looking. The market couldn't make up its mind whether it was trying or not.

Makes it's previous run look even more filth (as it was).

The only credit I can take is for picking it out at the start of the season. Needless to say I backed it last time.

He was terrible at Chepstow, and for most of this race it looked as if he would struggle to even place. If anyone expected that he would have been the one going off 1/2.

In his points the two things you would pick out would be that he was sent forward, and he jumped very well.

Now his jumping is poor, and he is held up. Why the complete change?

Interesting to see if today (it was a shocking race) proves the pinnacle.
