Feel for her i hope she gets better.
Report impossible123 • March 22, 2024 6:21 PM GMT
I wish her a speedy recovery. She's a very young family and lots to look forward to.

Her interview was brave beyond belief.
Report antony_27 • March 22, 2024 6:35 PM GMT
Hopefully the gutter press will get off her back now and leave her to undergo a full recovery in peace
Report penzance • March 22, 2024 6:36 PM GMT
Should be left alone.
Report EastLower Gooner • March 22, 2024 6:42 PM GMT
Hopefully now you morons stop with the Willian murdering that other Royal / Kate body double conspiracy.

Weirdos.
Report layemall • March 22, 2024 6:47 PM GMT
Isn't it shocking news. William will have to be stronger than ever now with both his wife and father having the disease. I just hope she makes a full recovery for both herself and their young family.Sad
Report jimnast • March 22, 2024 6:49 PM GMT
How very sad Sad
Report the dealer • March 22, 2024 6:52 PM GMT
Wish her all the best and the thousands of others, fighting such a horrible disease.
Report GoBallistic • March 22, 2024 6:53 PM GMT
Preventative chemo suggests it's a "better to be on the safe side" course of action - hopefully she will be fine
Report impossible123 • March 22, 2024 6:58 PM GMT
It's just spoilt my weekend. It's horrible for such a young woman and mum.
Report stewarty b • March 22, 2024 7:07 PM GMT
If I was in her position there's no way I could have done that interview. As previously said I'm not a Royalist but I genuinely hope she's our next Queen.
Report stewarty b • March 22, 2024 7:16 PM GMT
Can you imagine what William's going through? Wife and father both with the disease.
Report impossible123 • March 22, 2024 7:16 PM GMT
No sane woman would have done that but for a future Queen. I wish her well.
Report SlippyBlue • March 22, 2024 7:16 PM GMT
Absolutely awful news, poor woman.
Hoping that she recovers fully very soon.
Report DonegalPrince • March 22, 2024 7:36 PM GMT

Hopefully the treatment will work, the kids need their mother.
Report impossible123 • March 22, 2024 7:49 PM GMT
I've not watched the video. I do not think it's necessary for me to watch it before understanding the implication of the message.

I meant only a future Queen would have the courage and fortitude to make that video message to explain her health to the country.
Report DonegalPrince • March 22, 2024 7:54 PM GMT
ah, I see. Quite agree impossible. It is sad that the ferrets in the press have forced her to do it. If it weren't for them a 3 or 4 line press statement would have been more than enough instead of, by their pressure and the insanity of modern media life, making her do this. she was obviously uncomfortable. A very, very difficult watch (which I regret doing now tbh............maybe I am part of the problem).
Report jimnast • March 22, 2024 7:57 PM GMT
Good post Donegal
Report CROPSICK • March 22, 2024 8:11 PM GMT
To me you can see it in her eyes that she is very tired and under a lot of strain, God bless her and i pray for a full recovery.
Report layingisthewayforward • March 22, 2024 8:11 PM GMT
I find it bizarre the amount of people online expressing how sad they are. As someone who's watched both parents and best mate die of cancer I know what a horrible disease it is but unless you know them, I just don't get it.
Report acey deucy • March 22, 2024 8:15 PM GMT
Now why does that not surprise me.Plain
Report DonegalPrince • March 22, 2024 8:26 PM GMT
so, Laying, you "don't get" one human expressing sympathy with another person (unknown to them personally who is suffering from a potentially fatal disease? Do I accurately summarise your post?
Report layingisthewayforward • March 22, 2024 9:08 PM GMT
DP, I've been at rock bottom, honestly as low as many people can go due to grief cuz of this disease. I don't understand how people can get upset about a stranger, sorry if I'm different to the rest of you.
Report Cider • March 22, 2024 9:14 PM GMT
It's a little harder to understand why someone who doesn't care about people they don't know getting cancer would click into (and post) on a thread about a person they don't know getting cancer.
Report DonegalPrince • March 22, 2024 9:18 PM GMT
not a problem Lay. my deepest sympathies and I apologise profusely for the tone of my comment. I have just been diagnosed myself with prostate but it all should be ok. I should not have been so questioning about your post. I do hope you can bear up and get through the grief. I am sorry to have been so stupid. All the best
Report layingisthewayforward • March 22, 2024 9:42 PM GMT
DP, sorry to hear that.  No need to be a **** though.

Report GEORGE.B • March 22, 2024 10:45 PM GMT
We've had quite a bit of 'theatre' to arrive at this point

The royal family telling us about their ailments, which I don't think they used to

Weeks of speculation about what was going on and why Kate hadn't been seen.

A 'dodgy' photo that we're asked to believe was photoshopped by the princess herself and got past their P.R advisers

A even dodgier (imo) pic of the royal couple leaving a farm shop (I think the Orwell quote about the state asking you to ignore the evidence of your eyes, would come in handy here).

And then a claim that someone had tried to access her hospital notes.
Well if you work in a hospital then you know there is an audit process and you can be easily identified if you try to access any information you're unauthorized to, so I find this hard to believe. Besides, 1.01 imo her medical notes would be closely guarded.

A lot of the reporting has been focusing on the supposed online trolls, and the best analysis I think has been that this going to lead to further online censorship, but we'll see.
Report casemoney • March 23, 2024 1:17 AM GMT
George the last thing I want to hear is anyone has Cancer TBH

who knows whats been going on ,I actually had thoughts that she was Dead Plain

Im not a conspiracy type ,But the photos Etc left a lot Unanswered

Have to Take into consideration what happened to Diana ..

I wish the Young lady well, and hope we get an all clear in About 5 years
Report GEORGE.B • March 23, 2024 1:50 AM GMT
So we have 2 dodgy pics and then a story the media run with regarding an unauthorized attempt to access her notes, which they put across as being blamed on social media.

Followed by one of the usual suspects - Jeremy "Should covid jabs be mandated?" Vine - putting this out:

Jeremy Vine asks callers if Twitter should be shut down in wake of Kate Middleton drama
Jeremy Vine asked his Channel 5 viewers whether the government should 'shut down Twitter' in order to protect Kate Middleton from rumours amid recent conspiracy theories

"This will sound crazy. But China does it... we've got to now take control of Twitter and shut it down for the time being."

https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/jeremy-vine-abruptly-cuts-caller-32398405

Where's this leading to - more censorship?
Report Cider • March 23, 2024 7:26 AM GMT
Twatter in of itself isn't the problem, it's the credibility people, especially legacy media attribute to it. It provides a very jaundice view of the world, treats the extreme as if it's the norm. Normal people aren't posting on (or even reading) twatter every day. This is similar to how politics has quickly raced to the bottom, people who look after these types (politicians, royals, c lebs) and think they have to try and manage the narrative on twatter and what they invariably do instead is exacerbate the problem (as they see it). You can't reason with idiots.

Come on. This was somewhat anticipated. The reticence of news was not a good omen. Then her husband opted not to attend a family-related event at the last minute.

I wish her well, and be back to full health and enjoy being a mum to her little ones. The country can wait, and secondary; pinkest of health 1st and foremost.
